This quote is particularly relevant now, for we live in a world where war on Europe’s edge can drive commodities to dizzying heights, where supply chain disruptions make planning a labyrinthian challenge, and where staff shortages can affect everything from critical medical care to your barista coffee.

In such times, leaders need to be able to think differently about how their organisations plan, because the process of planning may now be much more valuable than the plans that emerge.
