Skillset
Ian is great at engaging and building trust with client teams from the chief executive level to ‘boots-on-the-ground’ frontline staff. He uses this to rapidly understand the intricacies of the organisation and the issue it faces. He has led a strategic redesign for a tourism organisation as well as numerous operating model and lean process re-engineering projects across multiple clients. He is a specialist when it comes to operating model; lean process re-engineering; internal strategy and risk practices. He commonly uses data and a structured approach to redesign functions and processes to remove current state issues.
Recently, Ian has governed and driven the uptake of a major suite of organisational changes in a complex geographically dispersed organisation, all whilst managing multiple executive stakeholders. Ian has also applied his skills in Agile to deliver re-engineered processes for this multi-million dollar transformation program.
