With years of experience across private and public industries, Richard is an operating model design and transformation expert and leader.

He supports his clients to make data-driven transformation to deliver enhanced outcomes for their clients and mission. His ability to connect frontline insight and strategic objectives, across some of Australia’s household names has been invaluable. Richard’s strong knowledge and application of Lean methodology has been applied in many contexts.



Richard is an experienced specialist in process improvement, operating model design, and change management. He is passionate about improving the organisations he works with, and partners closely with his clients to achieve measured and sustainable outcomes. His broad experience covers: construction; financial services; government and regulatory services (federal and state/territory); healthcare; membership organisations; mining; telecommunications; transportation and logistics; and various not-for-profit services.

Richard has successfully supported and led transformations in numerous sectors of the Australian economy and has delivered operational change across client teams ranging in size from small to large. His warm approach to staff at all levels galvanises teams to work together and is essential to ensuring his clients can deliver sustainable change and embed continuous improvement. His personal blend of pragmatism and critical thinking are highly valued by his colleagues and clients.


With his collaborative and engaging approach, Richard has guided numerous leadership teams in redesigning their operating models and core processes to deliver step-change improvements to their operations. Often bringing cross-functional frontline teams together, he demonstrates lean thinking with practical user-centred design to re-engineer complex processes.

He often draws from his cross-industry experience to apply new thinking to old problems. Working closely with teams, Richard enables them to own the new design and build internal momentum for change.
